This slice of Costa Rica offers more than enough adventures for you and your fellow travelers, including things such as horseback riding, hiking along mountain passes, and exploring beaches with diving or snorkeling gear. You'll never get tired of the lush forests or blue waters, either.

The staff and owners of Tango Mar are dedicated to your happiness and enjoyment of the facilities, often going above and beyond to ensure that your experience is positive and rewarding. They're around for everything from tourism booking to room service, and open at most hours.

Despite two restaurants and a snack bar area, the food at Tango Mar fails to live up to the quality established by the rest of the resort. The ingredients are high-quality, but the end result is too bland and overpriced in most cases.

While the surrounding sprawl of Costa Rica may provide plenty of space to relax and explore, there's not always enough room at Tango Mar for the amount of people passing through the resort. The pools and fitness center are often the first to become crowded.

Unlike some other resorts, Tango Mar offers little in the way of nightly amusement. You'll need to head into town or plan some exciting trips to the countryside to fully enjoy your evenings at Tango Mar, as the facilities don't often host performances or games.
