About Hotel Szieszta

Hotel Szieszta is the biggest hotel in Sopron, situated right next to a five-acre green park in the Lővérek forest, in a peaceful, quiet and representative environment, just in a 15-minute walk from the town’s historic downtown. The hotel was built in the early 1970s by the Trade Union for Workers of Business, Finance and Catering Trade. The hotel was opened on 23rd August in 1973; with its 600 beds it was then and is still the biggest hotel in Sopron. The Hotel Szieszta of today is very popular. The aim of the hotel's management and staff is to preserve and strengthen the reputation of this building with a great past. ​
