This bridge house is a perfect overnight stop-over for cyclists on the LF7 cycle route. Explore the hottest spots in the city within walking distance: the EYE film museum is accessible by bus (12 minutes). Amsterdam Central Station is accessible by the newly North-South line (8 minutes) or by bicycle (9 minutes). From 1969 to 2017, bridge house Meeuwenpleinbrug accommodated Amsterdam’s bridge keepers, who opened and closed the bridge for passing waterway traffic. In 2017, when the local government centralized bridge control, the bridge house started a new chapter as one of the 28 suites of SWEETS hotel.
