Certain rooms like the Bananaquit have private patios with lounge beds overlooking the pool and gardens, perfect for lounging with a drink and a book. Sweetfield Manor Historic Inn is a ten-minute walk from the nearest beach and driving distance from restaurants and shops. Taxis are readily available. You should rent a car if you plan to do a lot of exploring.
It can be difficult to get buzzed in at the front when you first arrive if no one is at the desk.
