Hotel Sweet Dream Inn - University Park (Pensacola, USA)

The inn is within the vicinity of plenty of restaurants. If you want to go downtown, it can be fairly cheap by taxi.

The breakfast is decent and includes yoghurt, cereal, waffles, bagels, muffins, juice, and a few other goodies.

Check-in is straightforward and the staff are adequately pleasant. Questions about the area and what to do are diligently answered and you feel welcomed and comfortable.

The TV reception could be better and the elevator signs need improvement. Those who book their rooms in advance should at least have the rooms they requested if they are free at the time of booking. Adding a pool would be a great improvement.

Perhaps it depends on if you are traveling alone or whether you are a female, but the area seems a bit dicey, but not exactly dangerous. It's a bit far from the beach too.

Unfortunately, this place leaves a lot to be desired. Cockroaches, which are everyone's nightmare, mold, strange odors, filthy tub, scaly shower head, sheets not changed, someone else's hair in the shower. It's not a good look, though there are some rooms that seemed to be better, the overall prognosis is that this place should get an all around upgrade. You may have to ask for clean towels, and if there is a problem in the room with furnishings, lighting, or the like, you may be completely ignored!
