A few guests that stayed in the past commented on how shabby the rooms had looked and it seems that the management has taken notice. The rooms are well equipped and decorated to a very high standard with some even having a terrace.
There is an excellent gym with a terrace for cooling down which impresses a lot of guests. The boat rental is a lot of fun but a bit expensive while the spa treatments go down well with guests and locals alike.
You will find that this hotel is in one of the most beautiful locations overlooking the most famous of rivers. You can take a stroll around the area and find some interesting shops and a few restaurants and cafés.
The bar staff are certainly not working for tips here as they take their time to attend to you. It's rather frustrating when all guests want is a drink before dinner. The service in the restaurant is better but still not ideal.
A few guests have complained of being spoken to rudely by members of staff. That's not to say they are all rude, but some were less than polite and not very accommodating to guests' requests.
