Hotel Super 8 Motel Missoula-Brooks Street (Missoula, USA)

Roomy, comfortable and refreshingly well serviced; the accommodations here are, in general, a step up above what you'd normally expect to find in a budget hotel.

Numerous guests have been impressed by the customer service skills displayed by the staff at this hotel. Most noteworthy were the polite and industrious employees at the front desk.

Sure it may not be much, but the cereal, cheese omelet, toast, yogurt and fruit juices offered here are, on a good day, every bit as as good as many of the offerings you'd otherwise have to pay for in any of the nearby fast-food outlets. Certainly good enough to start off your day in the right fashion.

It is fair to say that the free Wi-Fi here is about as dependable as a British weather forecast. On a good day it's all fine and dandy but on a bad day it's, well, pretty damn frustrating, locking you out and freezing at the most inopportune moments. Not good.

Whilst four miles may not be that far, it is far enough to make getting into downtown Missoula a little bit of a hassle at certain times.

Along with traffic, visitors have identified noisy water pipes, droning A/C units and paper-thin walls as reasons for keeping them awake at night. If you're a light sleeper then a pair of good quality ear plugs might be a wise investment...
