Hotel Super 8 By Wyndham Gainesville (Gainesville, USA)

Many of the rooms at this hotel have been recently refurbished. Hence, guests tend to rate the accommodation quite highly. The hardwood floors are one of the highlights as these can be kept cleaner than carpets. The beds are comfortable and the air-conditioning is effective.

With only a few exceptions, guests found the staff at this hotel friendly and accommodating. The staff is happy to chat, always seem to greet guests with a friendly hello, and are happy to help with any issues raised.

While the Super 8 Gainesville is certainly nothing fancy, most guests agree that it offers excellent value for money. This is particularly the case now the rooms have been refurbished but freebies such as parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast are additional plus points. The choice of on-site facilities is good for the price.

Noise doesn't appear to be a massive concern although complaints do crop up from time to time. You may be able to hear other guests but poor soundproofing also means that you'll be at the mercy of local wildlife. Apparently, frogs are an issue!

This hotel offers both smoking and non-smoking rooms. Unfortunately, the smell from the smoking rooms seems to linger in the hallways. Some guests who had booked non-smoking rooms also thought that their room smelled of smoke.

Breakfast at this hotel is generally described as being of a reasonable standard but several guests mention that the area in which it is served is far too small. You may end up taking breakfast to your room.
