The hotel just underwent a revamp and facelift, so the upgraded the rooms pleased guests. The rooms were fresh with modern bathrooms and fixtures. Ambiance was so relaxing because the rooms were cosy and clean at all times.
Guests enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast served each day. They had eggs and pancakes station, fruits, hot dishes, cheeses, meats and cereals. Also, the croissants and bread selection was amazing and completely satisfying.
Most guests are delighted that this property is close to many tourist attractions within the area such as Table Mountain, Company's Garden, Natural History Museum, and Parliamentary Precinct. Also within easy walking distance are shopping centres as well as restaurants and loads of other shops.
Although the hotel offers free Wi-Fi, guests were still annoyed because of its poor service. They did not enjoy streaming videos and browsing their social media accounts because the signal was intermittent. There was also a weird policy wherein only three devices per room can be connected.
The property is quite far from the city centre of Cape Town as it is located in the suburbs. Although there are some key roads and attractions within walking distance, guests who needed to go to the city had to get the hop on/hop off bus or taxi which cost them extra cash.
Rooms have thin wall structure so the noise coming from loud conversations or even television from the neighbouring rooms irritated previous guests. They felt disturbed because they cannot easily get to sleep due to the noise.
