This hotel is a hit with walkers. Guests can choose to walk South towards Widemouth Bay or North to Maer. A variety of other walks are available in the area, depending on ability and desired distance.

The breakfast here gets great praise from guests. A variety of choices are available, and guests have been particularly impressed with the pick and mix muesli bar, allowing them to create their own cereal from a variety of seeds, grains and dried fruit.

A handful of guests who stayed in one of the rooms on the ground floor close to reception have commented that they were sometimes able to hear the check in and out process. Guests looking for complete tranquility should request a room on a higher floor.

A few guests have advised that they feel the decor in the bedrooms is slightly dated, and would benefit from modernisation. This didn't genreally detract from guests' overall stay.

The bathrooms in some of the rooms here are said to be quite small, which could present a problem for guests with mobility issues. If a more spacious encvironment is required, it's suggested you request this upon booking.
