Centred in the city by the bustling Diagonal Avenue, the Sunotel Junior offers access to much of Barcelona’s sights. Its proximity to the metro also makes it quick to reach locations further afield.

Many of the guests appreciated the warm Spanish welcome they received while staying at the hotel, with staff quick to answer any questions or offer some local knowledge.

Guests found the air conditioning would not work sufficiently, or erratically, sometimes too hot and sometimes too cold.

Barcelona is a buzzing city that is up all night. Unfortunately that can mean for guests who have rooms by the road, they will get noise pollution filtering in. For guests who are light sleepers, request a room at the back.

Bumpy Beds.

Many of the guests mentioned the beds were very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. A good quality night’s sleep is important when travelling so to get the most out of the next day. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back of the hotel.
