Hotel Sunotel Aston (Barcelona, Spain)

The Sunotel Aston hotel is located in an area that is rife with bars, restaurants and shops but also is an area that has a more relaxed atmosphere than that of central Barcelona. Guests can easily access the vibrant and bustling centre of the city via the nearby and convenient public transport links; the tourist attractions and exciting nightlife is a short distance away but guests can return to a low-key and chilled out area after enjoying all that Barcelona has to offer.

The staff are extremely helpful and courteous, ensuring that all guests feel welcome upon arrival; they work to create a warm atmosphere and are happy to supply information about the area and respond to any requests or queries regarding the hotel.

Guests were impressed with the wide range of high quality facilities available at the hotel, such as the rooftop pool and hot tub that offer a scenic view of Barcelona, and the on-site restaurant that served delicious food for a fair price as well as the free Wi-Fi.

While guests enjoyed several aspects of their stay the Sunotel Aston, some found that their room’s bed and pillows were uncomfortable and were disappointed by this.

Despite the general consensus on the hotel’s location being positive among most guests, some found that the location was too out of the way and were annoyed with having to use the public transport links to visit the city centre.

The Wi-Fi was found to be unreliable and slow by some guests however, there are few negative complaints about this hotel, excluding the ones above, and none of these complaints negatively impacted any guest’s stay.
