Hotel Sun Fun (Myrtle Beach, USA)

The motel is close to the beach. If you don't plan on staying in your room often, the beach is a nice place to go to chill out. There are also restaurants, a shopping mall, and mini-golf in the vicinity. All within walking distance.

The motel will never get five-stars, or even four; however, it is great for students or if you are only staying in the area for a night or two.

The room comes with a microwave, fridge, and stove top. You can easily cook a decent meal; however, this may depend on whether there are sufficient cooking utensils in the room.

The motel looks as if it has seen better days. The beds are old, the pool needs a good cleaning, room smells like cigarettes, and mold in the bathroom. It's everything that would make you "not" want to stay again after your initial encounter.

If you want cheap accommodations, you have to deal with what you get. For example, the stove and kitchenette have little or no utensils, pots and plans, or plates. You going to get your money's worth, but don't expect a lot. The place is probably not you would expect, even if you're paying a budget price.

Experiences like the shower curtain falling to the floor when you touch it, broken handles on the shower, doors coming off the hinges, may be what you encounter while staying at the motel. You could possibly bring your own repair kit since repairs at the facility are made with caulking and duct tape.
