Hotel Subur (Sitges, Spain)

Guests loved the convenience of this beach-side, Spanish hotel. In addition to being on the beach, it is also close to restaurants and bars. Rooms with balconies are highly recommended.

While the setting is unusual, guests seemed to enjoy their breakfasts in the bar, which serves pub food for the rest of the day.

Most guests were at least satisfied with the cleanliness and spaciousness of their rooms. Others went a step further than that and thought the hotel was both a good bargain and a great find they would not hesitate to recommend if not return to.

Despite the pictures on the website depicting an uber-modern hotel, it appears that these are slightly deceiving. Many guests felt that the facility needed an upgrade.

Some guests suggested that an in-person inspection of the room is a good idea before committing to one, suggesting that some rooms are in better repair than others. Other guests commented that rooms facing an internal courtyard as opposed to the beach, were very dark.

Some guests wrote that the walls were so thin that you could hear people in the adjacent room sneeze or move around. Others felt that the street noise was too loud, particularly at night.
