The location of this property appealed to air and rail passengers as the airport was just a short drive away as was downtown Bakersfield with its Amtrak station. Despite the proximity of the Golden State Highway, many reviewers said they found their rooms to be quiet. Drivers loved ample free parking and said it was hassle-free to reach area attractions, beauty spots, shopping malls and golf courses. Moreover, it was handy that there were petrol stations, bus stops and shops nearby as well as dining options within easy walking distance.

The friendly, attentive and helpful personnel at reception won praise from many travellers. Animal owners were chuffed with the pet-friendly policy.

Visitors remarked that the rooms were functional but comfortable, spacious and clean enough for their needs. The fully-equipped kitchenettes also appealed as they enabled guests to rustle up light meals anytime. The usually inexpensive room rates were attractive for budget-conscious travellers.
