If you're not too demanding and want somewhere with “no frills” to lay your head down for the night, you could find this place to be a good option. Guests say it is very reasonably priced - for London.

Guests give glowing reports of the owners and staff of the guest house. They are very pleasant and caring people and are very helpful too.

With a bus stop right outside the house, you can either go right into the West End or catch the tube from Stratford station five to ten minutes' away. There are also a selection of pubs and shops nearby.

If you think you can put up with shared bathroom and toilets for a night or two, you may reconsider after staying here. Guests say they are grubby and extremely dirty, as if they hadn't been cleaned for days. In fact the whole place feels shabby - resembling more like a dank bed-sit than a cosy guesthouse.

Guests often have difficulty sleeping because of the proximity of an extremely busy and noisy road outside. Many would prefer to roast in the stuffy hot summer months (with no air-conditioning) than open the windows and be subjected to more of the din. Even if you can put up with that, you might have difficulty nodding off through anxiety. Guests say the place is unmanned at night and you may end up with rowdy drunkards in the other rooms.

If you're looking for a nice spacious and cosy bed to drift off to the land of nod in, you'd probably better look elsewhere. Guests say the double beds are probably more like three-quarter-size beds and they are extremely uncomfortable with springs sticking out.
