Our combined hotel and hostel Strand is beautifully situated just by the sea in Lysekil and has 75 beds in 22 charming rooms, all with private shower/toilet, TV and free internet access. The house was built 1904 as the most luxurious hotel in the village. The current owners renovated all rooms individually with a touch of the jugend style, also the breakfast room and the self catering kitchen is renovated lately and has the same charm as the rooms. You can choose between accommodation in single, double and multiple rooms, and if you want a hotel or hostel standard. At the entrance floor there are rooms for disabled guests. The fully equipped kitchen offers self-catering. It is also possible to order breakfast and in the owners' other hotel Strandflickornas Havshotell, 150 meters away, there is a small restaurant serving evening meals. In the newly renovated basement, you can use the sauna free of charge (but it must be ordered in advance), there is also a separate entrance for scubadiving guests with associated room for drying diving equipment. Near to Strand are tennis courts, miniature golf, sea house aquarium and beautiful granite cliffs. Best of all is the nice staff!
