Those who stayed at Stonegarth Guest House said they were perfectly placed to explore the historic market town of Keswick on foot, as well as convenient to the wide range of pubs and restaurants it offers, and the shore of Lake Derwentwater. Others said they had a good base to head out into the beautiful Lake District nature for a spot of fell walking and the free, off-street parking was also appreciated by those travelling by car.
Guests were unanimous in reporting quiet, clean rooms, which came complete with strong rainfall showers and much-beloved beds. On top of this, reviews show that they had plenty of nice little touches throughout, like soft drinks and fresh milk in the fridge, and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuit supplies, as well a glass of sherry when they arrived.
