Hotel Stelios Place (Perissa, Greece)

This property is a family affair, run by a mother and father with help from their daughter. This arrangement makes for a fantastic set-up, with many noting that this team will go out of the way to offer assistance. It seems that great service here begins prior to arrival, with advice on where to go and what to see in Santorini and continues throughout guests' stays, with members of the team taking the time to ask after guests. This made a hugely positive impression on visitors.

These rooms are basic, but they are kept to a high standard. This, of course, was well-noted by guests, but the most impressive amenity offered by this complex seemed to be its transfer service. A member of this team was always willing to convey guests to or from the port or airport. This meant a hassle-free journey across the island and was a convenience that was much appreciated by many.

Just like the rooms, the pool and its surrounds are kept to a sparkling standard. The pool area itself is the hub of this complex and guests can even have breakfast overlooking its azure waters. Speaking of, many were much impressed by the quality of morning options here.

The vast majority of guests reported superb stays, but some have noted a few minor issues. First and foremost, walls here are thin, with room noise filtering into adjacent units.

Also, some were disappointed to note that breakfast here is not included in the room rate.

Finally, a few felt that it would be nice to have some sort of drinks service within the pool area.
