Hotel Starlight Resort (Koh Phangan, Thailand)

Travellers say the hotel is right next to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach which is really clean and very nice overall. Not only can you take a swim in the sea, but a number of rooms as well as the pool offer views of the beach.

There is an infinity-edge swimming pool at the hotel where you can take a swim and also layout in the sun and enjoy views of the beach and the blue waters of the sea. Guests proclaim the pool to be quite good with plenty of room.

Visitors state that the property's location is excellent if you are looking to get away from the world for a few days. The hotel is on the more remote side of Koh Phangan which isn't as busy as some other parts of the island.

Several visitors were highly critical of the staff at the property saying the attitude from the employees could be improved upon. In addition to this, the staff is not always easy to locate if you need help or assistance during your stay.

A number of guests point out that the property lacks an on-site restaurant and that you are on your own when it comes to securing your meals. There are a number of eateries within walking distance of the property, however.

The accommodations are fairly basic in the eyes of some travellers who note that the rooms are little worn overall and are not equipped with all that many amenities.
