Aside from having extremely clean and well-designed rooms, guests speak well of the hospitality trays available upon entering the rooms, which are to be expected only on 5-star hotels. The trays include small bars of delicious chocolates, tea, coffee, flavoured water, and pocket tissues.

Guests commend the generous amount of full English breakfast served in the morning. There is a wide selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, juices, and scrambled eggs that are locally produced and freshly cooked.

St Michael's Guest House's owners are very accommodating and helpful by assisting the needs of the guests from the moment they enter the property to their last day of stay. They hand guests a cup of tea and biscuits as soon as they arrive. Furthermore, they also ask ahead for the preferred schedule for breakfast and assist guests to their rooms.

Some guests find it quite hard to sleep soundly at night due to the road noise right in front of the guesthouse, as well as the noise coming from the seagulls in the morning. It is highly advised for guests to try other rooms located at the rear to have a better sleep.

Due to peak seasons, some guests are having a hard time finding parking spot due to the increase in the number of cars. Some guests are forced to park in the streets or under a tree so they could finally get some rest inside their rooms.

Although the bathroom area is spotlessly clean, some guests find it quite small especially the sink. Bathrooms also lack hanging cabinets or shelves. Moreover, there is also no window in the bathroom, which is quite suffocating to some guests.
