The hotel is considered to be a tight ship by its guests, tight not in the sense of rolling around, but well run by professional staff, under experienced management. The front of house staff checked guest in efficiently and were able to deal with any small glitches courteously and quickly. Housekeeping staff who were seen to be efficient thoughtful and thorough all combined to offer an overall great experience. .

The breakfast attracts praise generally as being better than the ordinary complimentary hotel offering. With a variety of tasty and healthy options, and free newspapers whilst the free ice cream cookies may have undone some of the healthy options' effects! Other guests commented on the fact that there are plenty of eating houses and movies to be found within about five minutes' travel. .

The guest suites attract great praise from guests, including some who are very environmentally conscious, and liked the hotel's policy of letting guests hang their towels after use in a way that indicates they are not to be laundered yet.
