The front desk staff at this hotel attracts plenty of positive feedback. Guests appear to receive a genuinely warm welcome and there are very few issues surrounding check-in and room allocation. On-going, the service is attentive and guests have felt able to approach the staff for everything from dining tips to directions.

It is often the case that a hotel caters better for business or leisure guests but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Leisure guests have loved the nearby attractions such as Legoland and business guests have appreciated the quiet surroundings and proximity to the airport.

Guests occasionally mention that although they assumed the suites with two beds would offer queen size beds, the beds are, in fact, standard doubles. If you need a larger bed, the only option is to book two king suites.

Previous visitors to this hotel have noted that the pool is rented out for children’s swimming lessons. Guests have been offered the opportunity to use the pool at a nearby hotel but this has proved less than ideal and somewhat frustrating.

Guest’s opinion about the free breakfast tends to vary. Some have enjoyed it but others found it distinctly average. It may well depend on what your appetite is like in the mornings. Furthermore, guests have reported that breakfast didn’t take place due to a no show by staff, so it seems that better contingency plans could be needed.
