Hotel Splash Inn Dive Resort & Villas (Roatán, Honduras)

The resort is in a fantastic waterfront location with a private dock and swimming area you can enjoy. If you’re there for a diving vacation, the dive center offers great packages at good prices. Diving in Roatán is fantastic; the resort is near to the best dive sites and the instructors are very knowledgeable, some of the best you’ll find. There’s a water taxi stand across the street, which is a great way to quickly get to other beaches and areas. Also, the resort’s right in West End so you’re close to many restaurants, bars and shops; it’s a great area to walk around and explore. While the resort offers a laid back vibe, you’ll find plenty to do between the various water activities and the amenities and services in town.

Splash Inn Dive Resort offers great all around value. The cost of the dive packages is very reasonable and the area has lots of great dive sites to try. The hotel has a dive center onsite with great instructors; it offers PADI courses along with activities suitable for all experience levels. Additionally, the restaurant prices are reasonable and the food and service is excellent. They have two-for-one drinks at happy hour, which is another nice perk.

Rooms at Splash Inn Dive Resort aren’t fancy but they’re clean and comfortable with good A/C. If you’re visiting for a diving vacation you’ll be more than satisfied.

Guestrooms don’t have safes and the rooms don’t seem very secure. It’s concerning when you have to leave valuables behind.

On certain nights the restaurant has live music, which is loud and goes until quite late.

The WiFi connection is somewhat spotty/unreliable in certain areas of the resort.
