Spiliotica on the Cliff is a three-star hotel with 24 rooms and is situated in a beautiful village called Imerovigli, Greece. All the apartments and suites offer a great view of the volcano and caldera. Rooms and suites are furnished with Greek antiques and are equipped with air conditioner, mini fridge, telephone, in-room safe, television and satellite channels. Bathrooms are provided with bathtub/shower, free toiletries and hair dryer. Suites also feature indoor and outdoor hydro massage. An outdoor pool and two spa tubs are present. As the name suggests, the hotel is located on top of a cliff, offering an amazing view of Caldera. Guests enjoyed the cool breeze at night. They could even take a short hike to the rocks. The rooms are made in the typical Santorini style with white stone walls which give it a clean look. The beds are comfortable and rooms have all the equipments required for a comfortable stay. The old traditional furniture gives an interesting look to the room.
The breakfast served here consisted of scrambled eggs, coffee, fresh fruit juice, canned fruit cocktail and lemon cake bread. According to many guests, the Greek yoghurt is delicious. Guests enjoyed their food and the magnificent views from the cliff.
Staff members are very accommodating and courteous. They are very friendly and don't mind sharing a bit of information about local places of interest, which comes in very handy when the guests want to plan their day ahead. The staff made the magical getaway even more magical by their high levels of hospitality.
The erratic Wi-Fi connection was very troublesome for guests who wanted to sit in the peaceful environment of their room and work online.
Most of the guests felt that the pool area is not well-maintained and too small as it gets crowded even with a few people around.
