Hotel Sonnino Suite (Rome, Italy)

The Sonnino Suite is a tourist’s delight as it is situated next to various important squares and monuments that are part of the history Rome is so famous for. The homonymous church with its marble and mosaic design is only a few minutes from the guest house. The Gianicolo hill is also a few minutes away and a climb up will reward you with spectacular views of Rome. The Pantheon with its popular marble design and the majestic bronze door is a short walk and the Corso Vittero Emanuele where Michelangelo’s works are found is also closely located.

The rooms at the guest house are of four types – quadruple, single, double and triple rooms. The rooms are large and done up in traditional furnishings giving a feeling of belonging to a historic period. The rooms have private bathrooms. Television with satellite channels and refrigerators are featured in every room. The rooms have air conditioning and sound proofing, so guests can have a quiet and peaceful time.

The guest house has a reception with staff available at some set timings. The staff can speak English and are helpful and cordial providing information and assistance with planning the day’s tour for the guests.

The place does not provide breakfast of any kind.

Wi-Fi is unreliable and sometimes equal to being non-existent, which hinders guests who need to catch up on their online work regularly.

Rooms are not very clean and the cleaning service is done at odd hours. There is no water heater in the bathrooms. The mattresses are uncomfortable, being hollow in the middle.
