Small rooms, but clean and comfortable.
Rooms are on the small side but the really important factor is the cleanliness. Small, clean rooms are far preferable to large, dirty ones. An unusual plus feature -and one missing in many more expensive hotels- is the effective bathroom fan extractor.

Fantastic staff.
Very friendly and welcoming; staff are efficient too; as evidenced by some seemingly insoluble problems with room allocation. Before you know it, though, the front desk has it sorted and you are in the room that meets your requirements. Can't fault the staff.

The location couldn't be better. You are so close to the beach and a short drive from some real tourist favorites. That initial concern over the lack of a hotel elevator evaporates as you espy the shopping outlet mall .. just across the street!

No frills .. and very few bedroom thrills
Charitably, the housekeeping can be described as being 'superficial'. When entering a room to find the previous guests' food in the fridge and clothing in drawers, you can't help but wonder about the standards generally. Add to this, the fact that rooms are not cleaned on a daily, or any regular, basis and the initial enthusiasm for this hotel takes a tumble.

Barking mad
They might have been left unattended in the rooms, or possibly it's stray dogs outside. Either way, the barking never stops and eventually, drives you insane.

A 'loverly' .. sorry, 'rubbery'.. breakfast
Not an uncommon complaint, but the reheating of food results in a very unpleasant rubbery effect and is an affront to the hotel guest.
