With a spot in the heart of Albany, this chilled hostel accommodation offers guests the opportunity to come and go at leisure, and the vibe is just right for students and couples alike with the option to stay in private or mixed dorm rooms.

If you are going to rely on public transport, then the bus actually comes right past the hostel, and if you feel like an easy walk to the shops, then there's a huge shopping centre close by where you will find an array of restaurants, groceries and other unique stores all within close proximity to one another.

Although the rooms are relatively small, guests found them well-designed, and fitted with modern current furniture and clean interiors. House-keeping received several compliments from guests about their attention to detail when cleaning the rooms.

Many visitors noticed that this accommodation was referred to as a hotel on their official web site, and was in fact seen to be more of a hostel than a hotel. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared here, so visitors felt a bit mislead before arrival.

Although the rooms felt fresh and new, guests found the bathrooms could do with a bit of a fresh approach. Tiles were cracked here and there, there was a build-up of mould, and the bathroom decor didn't fit in with the rest of the accommodation.

If you happen to get a room close to the lively pub downstairs, then make sure you pack a set of ear plugs in. Patrons tend to leave during the early hours of the morning making lots of noise on their way out.
