The property is set in beautiful gardens in the countryside, making it a pretty and peaceful place to stay, with lovely views of the surrounding area and a tranquil atmosphere throughout. You'll feel nicely relaxed here.
The staff here are really friendly. It feels as though nothing is too much trouble for them. They can give you advice on the best things to do in the local area and may even be able to sort you out with a breakfast-to-go if you have an early start.
The meals in the restaurant are excellent. You can get yourself a really tasty, hot breakfast and they serve lunch and dinner as well. The food is locally sourced, well prepared and nicely presented.
The showers at Six Bells Inn aren't the most powerful. As well as the water pressure being a little weak, the temperature is hard to regulate. It's often too hot or too cold. The sinks in the bathrooms are pretty small as well.
A number of previous guests noted that the Wi-Fi connectivity wasn't especially good. They were unable to get online at all from the comfort of their rooms.
Some guests here have stated that they found the inn hard to locate upon first arrival and that it perhaps needs to be better sign posted. Be sure to have directions to hand when you set off, so you know exactly where you are going.
