Hotel Sheraton Charlotte Airport (Charlotte, USA)

One of the unique selling points of this property is the large swimming pool. It is half indoors and half outdoors and therefore can be enjoyed whatever the weather. There is also plentiful seating dotted around the pool for non-swimmers.

The guestrooms here are spacious, well-decorated and have all the amenities you would expect from a Sheraton hotel. The beds are comfortable and the linens used are a good quality.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay near the airport then the Sheraton offers an ideal location. There is a shuttle bus that can take you backwards and forwards to the airport should you need it. There is free parking available for those arriving by car.

Guests have been very frustrated with the bar staff in the hotel and there have been a number of reports stating they were downright rude. The opening hours are also quite short for the bar here so if you arrive on a late flight you’ll struggle to get a drink and the bar is also closed at lunchtime.

If you plan to stay here you may wish to take a small mortgage out in order to afford the drinks prices, the wines in particular are very expensive. The meals at the restaurant are also on the pricey side.

There are signs fitted around the swimming pool which clearly state the rules of use. However these are continually flouted, for example no eating, and this ruins the experience for others. Guests feel that the management should be ensuring these rules are followed.
