The guest rooms at this hotel are very comfortable and decorated in a tasteful manner. Guests also reported that the rooms are clean, the Wi-Fi always works and the beds are cosy.

This hotel is located in a peaceful, quiet area that is seemingly remote but is only five minutes from the town centre. The location makes for an excellent base from which to explore the town and the surrounding countryside.

Guests reported that the rooms at Shannon Court are cramped and it is hard to move around or find space to properly store personal items. Also reported was dated decor, a lack of heat which makes the rooms feel damp, mould in the bathrooms, broken light fixtures, a musty smell, a lack of natural light and proper ventilation, uncomfortable beds and a lack of water pressure in the showers.

There is a lack of soundproofing in the rooms which means guests can hear a lot of noise coming from outside and from the corridors and nearby rooms. The sounds of conversations in other rooms, people walking in the corridor and traffic passing outside can be clearly heard inside the rooms.

Guests reported that breakfast is served at inconvenient times. Breakfast starts too early and ends too late and food is not served long enough for everyone to have a chance to eat breakfast.
