Quiet seaside village location by the beach
Reviewers often said they felt as if they were getting away from it all at this peaceful coastal location in an attractive west Cumbrian village. Guests loved being steps from the mile-long sandy beach for pleasant coastal walks. Another popular haunt nearby was the imposing sandstone headland of St Bees Head, where guests enjoyed experiencing rare birds and wonderful panoramas of the Cumbrian fells. Holidaymakers also liked the straightforward access to the western side of the Lake District National Park and proximity of St Bees train station for Cumbrian Coast line services.
