All studios have floor-to-ceiling windows, tram links can be reached in a few minutes’ walk and the Senefelder Platz Metro stop is 550 metres away. Some of the the bright and well-lit studios have balconies or roof terraces, while all come with a flat-screen TV, box-spring bed, free Wi-Fi, a small fridge and shower bathroom. All guests can make use of the ground floor courtyard and a guest lounge, while luggage storage and public parking are also available. Continental breakfasts are available, while a wide range of cafes, restaurants and bars can be reached in a short walk. Schoenhouse Studios guests said they found plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars to explore in the nearby suburb of Prenzlauer Berg, not to mention shopping boutiques, a supermarket, parks and good metro connections. Furthermore, guests said there were tram stops just outside, which ran to Alexanderplatz, but also thought this was easy to access on foot.
The complimentary continental buffets were thought to be great — even if a few guests would have liked some more hot options — while the breakfast area itself was thought to be rather pleasant and cosy. In addition, those who stayed said the lobby staff was friendly, had a great standard of English and were happy to help out.
Guests occasionally said they enjoyed nice Berlin views from their studios, in addition to a high level of cleanliness, stylish modern decor and a Nespresso machine. Furthermore, people reported having plenty of room and some were impressed with their personal terraces and balconies.
Some of those who stayed at Schoenhouse Studios made sure to mention that they found the open showers lovely, but also that these unfortunately resulted in a lot of water on the floor. On top of those, a handful of people noted that the studios were not serviced for short stays, so keep this in mind if you are particular about having your lodgings cleaned.
