The 3-star Saphir Grenelle offers Paris visitors 15th Arrondissement accommodation just 100 metres away from Boulevard de Grenelle and the La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle Metro station. More importantly, guests will find themselves about 15 minutes’ walk away from the Eiffel Tower and less than half a mile from the UNESCO headquarters and Champ de Mars.
All 32 rooms have an LCD TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi, a minibar, a work desk, en-suite bathroom with hairdryer and a safe.
The 24-hour reception desk offers luggage storage, tourist booking services and business services. Complimentary newspapers are also available and a lift is available.
Continental breakfasts are available, while a supermarket and restaurants can be reached in a short walk.
Saphir Grenelle is 20 minutes away from Paris Expo Porte de Versailles with the Metro.
Plenty of shopping is said to be found just outside this hotel, while guests also appreciated its proximity to a Metro station, as well as dining and cafes. On top of this, people said it put them within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and in a central position for exploring other attractions of the city on foot or with the Metro network.
Clean, comfy rooms — good value.
Saphir Grenelle reported finding clean, functional and comfortable rooms, which were thought to be well maintained and good value for Paris. Furthermore, some guests said they appreciated being able to take advantage of the hotel's courtyard in nice weather.
Staff generally prove to be helpful.
Those who stayed here largely thought the staff was friendly and helpful, especially when it came to things like booking transfers and providing tourist information, although a couple of staff members were occasionally signalled out for reportedly rude or indifferent service.
Rooms small, Wi-Fi issues, lift not to all rooms.
A few of those who stayed at Saphir Grenelle said they experienced issues with the Wi-Fi, although this may come down to the changing Wi-Fi codes. On top of this, many of those who stayed made sure to mention that the rooms are rather small, despite this being somewhat common for Paris, and a couple of people reported that not all rooms are served by the lift, so keep this in mind if you have mobility or luggage issues.
