Hotel Santa Catarina Algarve (Praia da Rocha, Portugal)

With views of the wide beach and turquoise ocean, guests loved the hotel’s seaside location and easy access to the beach.

The staff are both cheerful and helpful according to guests, quick to offer local knowledge, fix a problem or answer any questions they might have, with staff speaking both English and Portuguese.

Guests appreciated that their rooms were clean and tidy on entry. A clean room on arrival adds to the feeling of being welcomed.

Multiple guests said the hotel was let down by poor internet connectivity. While some guests could only get Wi-Fi in the reception area, others struggled with the available wired internet in their room, unable to log on.

While guests said the rooms were kept clean and tidy, others said that the furniture in the rooms were beginning to look tired and worn out and could be improved or updated.

A comfortable night’s sleep is so important to a guest, to make sure they are rested and revived for the next day’s adventures. Unfortunately some guests to the Santa Catarina had a bad night’s sleep or found the bed uncomfortable.
