The Inn is situated in Golden Bay, 9km east of Takaka on the way to Abel Tasman National Park in Pohara. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the safe and sandy Pohara beach, shop, cafés and restaurants. The property offers simple stylish bedrooms with a shared large tropical bathroom including eco-toilets, showers and bath. One of the units is a motel-style self-contained family unit with a well equipped kitchen and is ideal for self-catering. The on-site restaurant has a high reputation for its dinners and irresistible desserts using ingredients from the inn's own organic garden and locally grown produce when possible. The property offers breakfasts and a set dinner with a choice of desserts and a vegetarian option. The food is cooked fresh every day to order. Booking early for evening meals (no later than 4pm) is essential and you are advised to book a day or two in advance as the restaurant is booked out frequently.
