Hotel Sands Beach Resort (Costa Teguise, Spain)

Many guests enjoyed the seven pools and the lagoon on-site. They also commented that most of these areas never seemed overcrowded with travellers, so there's no need to fight for loungers and umbrellas.

Guests remarked that they enjoyed the family features, like the kids club, kids disco and family-friendly cabaret entertainment. Visitors mentioned that it was entertaining to tweens and younger family members while older children seem to enjoy the beachfront water sports.

Guests claim if you want to use the kitchen there is an on-site supermarket for things like drinks, fresh bread, drinks etc. However, if you'd like to eat off-site there are a number of reasonably priced restaurants within a five to ten minute walk.

While most people didn't seem to have an issue with the staff, there were people who mentioned issues and felt they were treated rudely. Some had run-ins with the front desk concerning charges to their account. Others mentioned slow service from the wait staff and the reception desk.

Some guests mentioned that the hotel and the rooms are looking somewhat dated and worn out. Some guests commented that a little TLC (newer sofas, beds, etc.) could make the property a bit better. Another aspect visitors mentioned was the number of free-roaming cats around the area since there is a sanctuary nearby. Some of them like to mark their territory on the patios. So if you're frightened by felines you may want to stay elsewhere.

While the hotel doesn't claim the resort has air-conditioning, some guests expected that it would. The hotel mentions that they offer air-conditioning units for rent or fans.
