Members of staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The service from all concerned, when combined with the very reasonable cost, just makes you want to arranged a return visit at the earliest opportunity.
The hotel is quiet and peaceful and the nearby Plaza provides a further opportunity to relax and just watch the wildlife going about its business. There are plenty of neighbouring restaurants. Supermarkets are a 15-minute walk, but the local bus stop is nearby. The Marina is a couple of minutes walk away and from there, water taxis take you to the Arch and beaches. It's just over half a mile to nightclubs and nightlife.
The air conditioning is pre-set and you can then only change the settings to a very slight degree. You’ll be lucky to get a tepid shower. Hot water is at a premium.
This is a quietly run hotel and it isn’t suited to party animals. Although most guests applaud this policy(* albeit very quietly) the few who do want to let their hair down are looked on with disdain and made to feel inferior. This is fair enough, unless you find yourself of the receiving end.
The location is OK for access to the Marina but there’s a mountain to climb – literally – to get to the beach which is about a mile away. Beach addicts use a water taxi or hire car.
