About Samon Village

Through design concepts we aim to recreate the communal living atmosphere of a traditional Khmer village, with the addition of a few contemporary luxuries.Our bungalows, nestled amongst lush gardens, banana and mango trees, offer accommodation for families, solo travellers, groups and couples with prices to suit most budgets. Our wish to promote traditional Khmer culture is not only seen in our style of bungalows, but our restaurant on site servesup authentic Khmer dishes, including traditional bbq food, fresh seafood and vegetarian options. We also collaborate with local artists and musicians to host weekly cultural events and artistic presentations to share our beloved roots and, in doing so, preserve our traditions and promote sustainable tourism.We offer swimming, kayaking, bicycle and moto rental, tour, bus and transport services, lots of local information and, of course, our relaxing communal lounge/bar/dining area with WiFi overlooking the river.
