Hotel Saluces (Salers, France)

About Saluces

17th century private home of the Marquis de “Lur Saluces”, governor of Salers. Now converted into a privately-run hotel full of charm and simply decorated using natural materials such as marble, slate, wrought iron and cement tiles. Offering a combination of the authentic and the modern and a simplicity of line, the Hôtel Saluces has eight bedrooms, each one different from the next, in size and also in character, decor and furnishings, which have been created with the use of period fabrics, colours and furniture. After a restful night you will feel able to enjoy your breakfast, which includes our homemade preserves, in the peaceful floral surroundings of the indoor garden - unless of course you would prefer the large Louis XIII room on the ground floor with its huge traditional open fireplace and its old cupboards. For those of you with a sweet tooth, afternoon tea in the tea room offers an opportunity to relax and enjoy the homemade tarts or other pastries accompanied by a distinctive tea from the best plantations. You will surely now appreciate that the Hôtel Saluces has all the qualities of a family hotel in a setting of authenticity and refinement.
