Sunday lunch was a hit with guests with many commenting on the delicious and pleasant meal they had with family and friends at the restaurant attached to the hotel. Other guests commented that there is a good menu also available at the bar.
The staff at the hotel rated very highly with many previous guests commenting that they felt very welcomed by the hotels' staff who made them feel at home and at ease from the moment of their arrival.
Some people made specific comment in their reviews about the extremely comfortable beds and bedding at the hotel and other really appreciated its authenticity in keeping with the heritage and history of the building which is listed.
Some guests did not have a lot of faith heading into their stay at the hotel with some experiencing confusing and difficult reservation confirmation conversations with hotel staff and check-in hassles on their arrival.
