Hotel Sacristía de Santa Ana (Seville, Spain)

Sacristía de Santa Ana is approximately 15-minutes walk from the city centre and main tourist spots, which guests commented gave them a different perspective and appreciation of the city. The hotel is also located in a lively area which offers many cafes, restaurants, tapas bars and shops.

Guests commented that the furnishings and style of the hotel was both charming and typical of the region. Despite the compact size, the rooms were found to be cosy and well presented with beautiful decorations. Rooms were also kept clean and tidy daily by housekeeping.

The staff are reportedly very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Special requests are met where possible and assistance is gladly provided for help with directions, recommendations and making reservations.

Some guests felt that the hotels’ photos were not accurate and did not show the extend to which the hotel is run down. The furnishings were found to be old, cheap in appearance and in need of replacement. Other guests also complained that the rooms were very small.

Some rooms had windows facing an inner yard which had poor lighting and resulted in an unpleasantly dark atmosphere. For natural lighted rooms, some guests recommend choosing a room with a window facing the street. However other guests found that rooms with windows facing the main street were much noisier due to the traffic and nearby restaurants.

Guests experienced problems with the climate control and reported that it was often cold at night. There are also no protective covers over the windows and some guests suffered mosquito bites in the night.
