Russo Palace is said to be a lovely old villa located in a quiet spot right on the lagoon, giving some fantastic views out towards the famous sights of the city — although make sure to request this if your heart is set on it, as a few rooms apparently face away.
Guests said they were located a short walk away from central Lido of Venice, reasonably-priced restaurants and the beach. Moreover, they said they were also just a short vaporetto ride away from the central tourist attractions of the Venice via the nearby terminal.
The staff here was thought to be friendly and attentive, and had plenty of local advice to share for those guests looking for recommendations. On top this, people were generally happy with the hotel’s continental breakfast buffets and the clean rooms.
A small number of those who stayed at Russo Palace said they thought their rooms were too small; a few also thought the decor was dated, and for this reason some said that they found these to be rather on the expensive side.
