Guests simply couldn’t heap enough praise on the young couple who ran the guest house. They were, in effect, described as the perfect innkeepers, offering a warm welcome and all the local intelligence and recommendations guests needed to have a great holiday.
While the guest house is a bit up Jonson Street from the town and beach, this fact did not really bother any guests. They found that it was easy to walk to the town’s amenities and the beach, with some adding that parking was very expensive in the centre, so they were happy that they could simply leave their car in the hotels parking and walk most places they wanted to be.
A number of guests went out of there way to highlight that the Byron Bay Services Club was right across the road, which many said offered the best traditional Aussie meals in the area. They found it was convenient to be able to just walk across the road for a top quality meal at a reasonable price.
A few guests seemed to have been disturbed by incessant barking from a dog that seems to live nearby. Since there were various complaints at different times, it appears that it is likely a single owner who is the culprit, and had somehow not been obliged to correct the problem at the time of the complaints. Those who mentioned it said the barking could really go on for hours at a time.
