This 18th century property's picturesque valley location in the quiet village of Rosthwaite beyond the so-called Jaws of Borrowdale made a perfect base for fell-walking, cycling and rock-climbing in the heart of the wonderful Lake District National Park.
Minor maintenance issues
Aging mattresses, dated decor and tired-looking fixtures and fittings were among the maintenance issues critics reported in certain rooms. There were also claims that certain bathrooms could have done with modernization.
