Royal Maritime Hotel (Portsmouth, United Kingdom)

Some visitors to Royal Maritime Club enjoyed the breakfast that was served. They remarked there was a wide range of food available and the food was well cooked with a good taste.

Although there were some guests that were displeased with the service they received from staff members, advising they were poorly trained and impolite, the majority of visitors had a different opinion. They stated the hotel personnel were amiable and helpful, happy to help to resolve any queries.

There were a number of complaints from guests regarding the décor of the rooms. They were disappointed with the furnishings inside the room, stating that paint was peeling off the walls and the furniture inside the room was old fashioned. Others advised the carpet was dirty and the rooms were in dire need of modernisation. Some parts of the hotel have recently been renovated so it’s sad there does seem to be an issue with the decoration inside the rooms

Some travellers to Royal Maritime Club were disgruntled with the size of the lift. They stated that the speed of the lift was very slow, the size was tiny and the lift was too old.

There were some visitors that were unhappy with the condition of the bathrooms, advising the water pressure inside the shower was poor and the furnishings inside the bathroom was very poor.
