Hotel Royal Beach Palace (Fort Lauderdale, USA)

Most find the hotel well located for access to local amenities; the beach is a ten-minute walk away and there are restaurants and bars in the area, and a grocery store, drug store and coffee shop very close by.

The pool area is a popular spot; with a Tiki Bar, comfortable loungers and cabanas with brightly colored cushions and towels, it's a fun place to be. Most love lounging in the sun with a good book, cocktail in hand (especially if you happen to be present for happy hour).

Rooms are spacious and, with small kitchenettes too, are very practical. Beds are comfortable, with plenty of pillows are supplied and guests love the Jacuzzi tubs in some rooms. Everything is kept clean and is well-maintained.

Despite being located very close to the beach, the nearest spots are, unfortunately, only for private access. The nearest access point to public beaches is a ten-minute walk away - something some guests find difficult during hot periods. If you have a vehicle, however, you can explore the coastline and park close to the seafront in several spots.

While the interior has been subject to an extensive renovation- with contemporary common areas and guest rooms, the outside of the building retains its motel-like facade.

Several guests have drawn attention to the level of noise disturbance at the hotel. While some experience traffic noise in the pool area, most complaints come from noise disturbances in the rooms themselves. Walls are said to be thin, and guests can often hear less-considerate neighbours late at night.
