All rooms are furnished with a touch of classical details combined with modern amenities. Each room has an antique furniture style with romantic accents. They feature a bed, a small desk and its own bathroom. The hotel offers free use of the coffee machines, Wi-Fi and a business centre with the use of a printer. Laundry and shoe shine services are offered. Dine at the Sauvage, a gourmet restaurant that offers French, Mediterranean cuisine. For a more home style meal, the Burgerstube offers authentic Lucerne meals honouring the region’s history. Romantik Wilden Mann is located just five minutes away from the station and near the River Reuss. It’s also located near the Lucerne Centre and accessible by bus.

Guests liked that the Romantik Wilden Mann served a continental breakfast with local cheese, homemade jams, local bread and an array of beverages. The breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room, guests noted.
Being next to the rail station made it easy for tourists to get around without having to hail a cab. Visitors also commented that they liked being able to walk to the colorful parts of Lucerne that had great restaurants and interesting shops. Lucerne Bridge is just a minute away.
The room can get hot and stuffy in the summers. And some rooms do not have an air conditioning unit. It made for a very uncomfortable and hot stay. Cracking open the window didn't help because it brought insects into the rooms. The fan didn't help much, guests noted.
It was an ordeal getting connected to the Wi-Fi. Guests said they were surprised that for the price of the hotel, that they weren't able to get stable Internet. They made the hotel aware of the problem, but the issue was not resolved during their stay.
Is it quaint or is it just old? Guests pondered this question because they noted the rooms looked worn as the carpet looked stained. They said the furniture looked dated, and the linens on the bedding and chair fabric looked tired and sad.
