Hotel Roma Tor Vergata (Rome, Italy)

The staff here are very helpful and always willing to accommodate requests and go out of their way to ensure that they are doing everything that they can to make your stay as pleasurable as possible with many members of staff being mentioned by name for their constant high levels of customer service and always being attentive.

The breakfast offered here impressed many previous guests who liked the wide choice available such as a choice of different eggs, pastries, breads, cold meats, cheeses and fresh fruit amongst other things in addition to being able to eat outside on the terrace in the warmer months.

In this day and age one thing that most travellers want, or perhaps need, is an effective Wi-Fi connection and guests were very happy with performance here as even outside the hotel you will still receive a signal so you can keep up to date with social media or whatever else you fancy.

Rome is further away than anticipated with the metro journey taking around 15-minutes, but this is after you have walked three blocks to the nearest bus stop and then taken the a bus journey which is 30-minutes to the nearest metro station, furthermore the neighbourhood itself leaves a lot to be desired with one previous guests reporting that taxi drivers refused to come here after dark because they felt quite unsafe.

Carpets in the hotel lobby are quite dirty and in need of a good clean and there isn't any air conditioning here either which makes it quite hot and humid in the summer months.

Some guests reported issues with insects in rooms and also bed bugs which left them with itchy, sore bites.
