Roko House inhabits a 17th Century renovated property in the heart of the Dubrovnik Old Town, where it offers guest rooms and studio apartments just a few minutes’ walk from the Church of Saint Blaise. All lodgings feature traditional decor like antique-style furniture and chandeliers, as well as modern amenities like air conditioning, in addition to a rooftop terrace. All rooms and studios are non-smoking and feature free Wi-Fi, LCD TVs, parquet flooring and en-suite bathrooms with Inox fixtures. Studios feature their own kitchen areas. Public garage parking is available a short walk away and airport shuttle services can be arranged for guests. Restaurants, bars, cafes, gelaterias, bakeries and supermarkets can all be reached with a short walk. The old town walls, Pila Gate, Dubrovnik Cathedral, Sponza Palace, Orlando’s Column and the Dominican Monastery are all less than a five-minute walk away from Roko House.
People loved the rooftop terrace of this property, mentioning that it gave them very nice vistas looking out over the red tiled roofs of the Dubrovnik Old Town. Inside, the rooms and studios were apparently clean on arrival, very comfortable, equipped with decent air conditioning and beautifully decorated, while the latter were said to be equipped with fully-functioning kitchens.
The owner of this property is apparently a lovely woman, who was said to go out of her way to meet guests, make them feel at home and assist with any questions, tourist information required or issues experienced.
Guests thought that they had an absolutely fantastic location here, one that plonked them firmly in the middle of the Dubrovnik Old Town. On top of this, those who stayed said they were situated just above a very good pizza restaurant and a short stroll away from plenty of further dining options and all of the historic attractions of the old town.
According to what previous guests have said, it appears that the only thing you have to watch out for here is the fact that there is no lift in this hotel and a few flights of stairs that may be hard for those with reduced mobility.
